Meet Gabrielle!
Gabby is a 2023 senior from Lincoln Southwest High School. In her free time, she loves painting and drawing, working out, and baking!
After she graduates, she plans on attending UNL and majoring in Criminology with big dreams of becoming a criminal investigator and working for the FBI. She is also going to be on the Husker Cheer Squad!! This is something she has worked so hard for for so long. I can’t wait to watch her do her thing during husker games! GO BIG RED!
When I asked her about the biggest lesson she learned in high school, her answer really resonated with me. She said, “Keep your inner circle small. Find one or two AMAZING friends. Quality > quantity.”
I believe this philosophy is true in so many aspects of life. It’s so easy to always want more more more, but in the end it’s those few gems that really matter.
She also told me that the best advice she was ever given was “Never not do something out of fear.”
Read that again, and then again. And then take it with you. It’s so easy to get stuck in our comfort zones. So be afraid, and do it anyway!
I think Gabby’s favorite piece of advice is perfect for how she wants to make an impact on the world. Going into criminal justice, she wants to be here for the people or the community she serves. She doesn’t want a position of power just to feel important, she wants that position so she can “SPEAK FOR THOSE WHO CANT and fight for what is right for the community.” Sexual assault awareness is important to her heart and speaking out for survivors, providing resources, and talking about it, even if it’s hard or scary, is important. Gabby, I hope you never let fear hold you back from making a difference! You’re going to great things for so many people; keep being BRAVE!
Gabby sees herself as intuitive, funny, and hard working. I see all of those things in her, and more! She says her spirit animal is the Cardinal, which she says if very spiritual and personal to her. She sees them all the time, especially in times of stress or when she’s in need of good luck! I’d say that is spot on!
Now, check out her senior pictures! She was a part of my senior model team, so she got an introduction Mini session as well as a Luxe senior session. For her intro mini, we went for a more fun arcade theme at Round 1. For her Luxe Senior session in late September, we started started at Sunken Gardens with a cottage core theme, then went over to the Graduate Hotel for a vibrant, summery, and flirty poolside look. Next we went out in nature and found a rustic bridge for an edgy, fashion inspired and fall colored vibe, and then her 3 giant St. Bernard doges joined in on the fun. We finished at Holmes lake at sunset in the water!

“I honestly felt amazing. After already being in your junior model team, I felt even more comfortable and I knew I would walk in there confident and walk out confident, as well as love the results/photos I get out of the shoot. The experience is full of laughter and smiles. I feel mat home and relaxed the whole time. I feel like I can let loose and have fun as that makes the shoot and pictures overall so much better. I LOVE HOW GENUINE MY PHOTOS ARE. I also love how no matter what, even if it feels like a weird pose or out of the ordinary, it turns out like something I've never seen before, always mixing it up, never the same pose twice.YES, I would recommend. A homey photographer who gets beautiful and styled photos of each person. You see everyone's personality come out no matter what shoot it is, and that she plays of the people/feels their energy. You'll never have an awkward shoot or boring one. She keeps me on my toes.”
